Agree on Cav not only was he excellent in an attacking sense his workrate was incredible he was bloody everywhere.

In most other seasons, Cav would have been far and away the stand out performer. Last season wasn't most other seasons. That said, we won't keep him just because we can - if we buy better he will be moved on and then we'll get a real measure of Nuno's abilities. Everything clicked last season, right players, right tactics...to move on, the same needs to happen year on year.

Probably because we want to do more bizz with Sporting

Talking of which - Bruno Fernandes. West Ham bid £20m. Sporting want £25m. We should be all over that.

Linked with Tosin Kihende of United.

They were doing so much better as well. They will be ready to stick the knife in after the first bad run of form

Just LD trying to manage expectations...or maybe we should just go out and sign a dozen players, who knows?

Read that eaely this morning. LD doesn't give anything anyway in that article at all, very coy. E&S decide they need to stir fans up to get more clicks, it works and sadly I clicked :(

You'll be pleased to know that Jinks has bought into the headline.

So we are looking to strengthen in specific areas on the proviso we can get the right players in. Not exactly a revelation is it?

Wouldn't it be immense if we named 7 signings this afternoon and Dalrymple said "See, I told you most of the work was done"

still think we're a bit short in midfield, relying on Saiss & Neves. (or have we bought someone in whilst i've been away)
assuming Phil is now recovered and in normal pre season training.
