According to Italian broadcaster Premium Sport, Cancelo has given his nod to a transfer to Wolves and is now waiting for them to thrash out an agreement over a fee with Spanish giants Valencia.

Portuguese super-agent Jorge Mendes is his agent and the 52-year-old, who shares a close relationship with both Valencia and Wolves, is leading the negotiations.

The Spanish giants are looking for a fee around the €40m mark and Wolves have opened talks to find an agreement with Valencia in order to take Cancelo to England.

We will pay the €40m so the stuff to talk over will be how we pay it. Guessing Valencia will want a fair chunk of it up front.

New rumour that AC Milan are after Morata from Chelsea, or Falcao, depending on whether they are kicked out of the Europa League or not due to FFP breaches.

This could mean Silva has been written off and is on his way out.

Portugal have left some very good players at home but in general I'd say those players don't really fit what Santos does. Credit to him for making difficult choices and not trying to Frankenstein a team out of players that don't work together (Lampard + Gerrard, anyone?).

Seeing the Cancelo has declined a move now. Trying to keep out of the rumours and just wait on news of actual signings but that is easier said, than done.

That will always be the issue with attracting that level of player. We are a newly promoted club who are likely to be offering good rather than spectacular wages and no European football. Unless you believe in the Mendes slavery train, then you are either wanting a top drawer player to want to play with acquaintances or buy into a project which doesn't have a guaranteed payout. If you were him and Juve a realistic option with a genuine opportunity of game time it's a no brainer
