I am totally gutted because let's face it you want to win the trophy and that is gone now. But I also sit back and think that was a superb game of rugby. I love watching a good game like that. But so, so frustrating to not come back and win. We always do against France, and then they get Shaun Edwards and suddenly they hold out. Easily the best defence coach in world rugby. I wouldn't be at all surprised to see the All Blacks wanting him soon.

And wales just let him go without even considering him.

He was set to sign for Wigan this season but depending on who you believe he was upset at lack of control and not having signed a contract, or he had several better offers financially that led him to walk away

Don’t think so, 6N is only classed as a secondary event:

Group B events - these can have live coverage on subscription television provided that secondary coverage is offered to the free-to-air broadcasters. This group includes the Six Nations rugby union tournament, the Ryder Cup, and cricket test matches played in England.
