The NFL Thread

They do seem to be making an effort to change their public image, but they are still a very poor team that will finish bottom of their division.

So much to fix in the playing roster to challenge at the right end of the division. 5 wins is probably the best we can hope for. Positive win / loss for the season is totally wishful.

Got some great defenders though and a superb coach now though, I could see 6 or 7 wins. I am not utterly convinced on either the Giants or the Eagles. Huge fan of Terry McLaurin too, fantastic player.

Washington's image won't change until Snyder is gone. Every decision he makes is tainted.

11 teams had practices affected by a lab recording false positive Covid tests on their players: it's gonna be mayhem if that happens 24 hours before a game!

Issue would be the stadiums allowing fans, but with college football being gone am sure they'd have a lot of scope for pushing kickoffs back 24hrs if needed.

After Ryan Fitzpatrick's mother passed away Bills fans have donated thousands of dollars to his charitable foundation in $14 amounts (Fitz always wears jersey number 14).

Love Fitz, love the Bills as an organization. Good story all around (apart from the death of his mother, obviously).

Fitz is very clever bloke too IIRC. Got a degree from Harvard.

(I only know this from The League sitcom in which he had a cameo).

Wasn't sure if you were on the wind up there Bear. His Harvard background gets mentioned constantly in relation to him! but then I read your clarifying point. Always seemed a really nice guy too when I have seen him speaking.

Does anyone have Game Pass? I got rid of Sky Sports last year as couldn't really justify the outlay and I usually watch Redzone anyway which is on Mix so didn't think it would really matter but I notice Sky have now launched a dedicated NFL channel. In case that means no Redzone on Mix anymore I'm looking at alternative options and Game Pass does look attractive.

I have Game Pass, it's always worked ok for me. I know a lot of people were complaining about issues with it at the start of last season but I am assuming the issues have been ironed out now.

There is a lot of good additional content from NFL films etc as well as the live stuff and you can also go back and watch any game from 2012 onwards. Also the condensed versions of the games are really good as they just show all the plays continuously so you can watch a full game back in around 40-45 mins.

Thanks Deano, do you know if you can stream it through Chromecast?

Yeah you can. A lot of TV's app store have the game pass app too. Think you can install the app on PS4 and Xbox as well.

Nice perfect, looks like you can do a 7 day trial at the moment so I’ll check that out.

I’ve had gamepass for years. Didn’t renew last year because the price had gone up loads and Falcons were going to have a shit season (armchair fickle fans for you).

Josh McCown has signed to the Eagles practice squad, will earn $12k a week and not leave his home in Texas. The most Covid thing I've seen.

Clowney has gone to the Texans
