The NFL Thread

No, 14 team play offs is now, the extra game 2021 at the earliest. The CBA only just passed, can see some choppy waters in the future as crudely all the stars are against it and the minimum wage/journeymen in favour.

The free agency madness starts today. Be interesting to see where some of the QB's end up.

Seeing Brady's arrogance being shoved back up his backside is pretty entertaining

Think they've tried to make the Brady stuff more of a storyline that it is - he will be back with the Patriots.

I see Tannehill has already agreed a new deal with the Titans yesterday.

Vikings sign Cousins to 2 year extension - will be interesting to see how much and how it's structured.

DeAndre Hopkins is rumoured to be on the trade block as Houston don't have a first in the next 2 drafts and want one. I don't think they'll have one after this either given the depth at WR in this year's draft. I'd be all over it if they'd take a second and a fifth though

Hooper to the Browns as the leagues top paid TE. They've overpaid again

David Johnson and a second with a couple of low level exchanges with the Cards. Fair to say Arizona have the better of that deal. Young QB has found a target

Worst trade in the history of the NFL. Or any sport. Don't know what the f**k O'Brien thinks he is doing, but he has damaged the Texans more than Covid-19 ever could!

I was in a good mood today, but that has definitely changed.

The Diggs deal makes it look even worse. Different types of WR, but I think Hopkins is better and doesn't come with the attitude

Every single NFL team would love to have Hopkins. And O'Brien just gave him away.

Anyway, Brady is leaving the Pats.

Cam Newton available for trade as well.

Teddy Bridgewater looks like signing for Carolina.

Philip Rivers signs a one year contract with the Colts.

Foles to Chicago for a 4th and a hefty contract. Nobody knows what he is though Year 1 pro bowl Nick, Superbowl winning Nick, Big Dick Nick that got the Eagles to the Divisional Round, or the below average QB he's been for the other 4 years. They know what Mitch is though. I hope he does well

He’s OK nothing more. If he was any good he wouldn’t have consistently been backup everywhere, or when he has gone as the starter gets binned. Decent seasons in very good teams/offenses/schemes doesn’t mean you are great. You are great when you play well in Rubbish teams/offenses.

Philly sure didn't get any better without him...

He's with the QB coach who inspired him to a remarkable play off run. That's the positive. He was also the OC when he got benched. I'd love him to do well, particularly in a proper football city, I think that might inspire him

Can't argue with the statement, but that had nothing to do with the QB and everything to do with the lack of receivers and invisible secondary which in letting Jenkins go to NO we've actually managed to make even weaker
