The Music Thread Strikes Back

Oh man, they're at camp bestival too, which has a cracking looking line up, including Steve Mason, Public Service Broadcasting, & Mr Tumble!
 
Went to see the magnificent Penguin Cafe last night.
3rd time I've seen them. They're getting their own identity, which is cracking.
 
Off to see John Bramwell (I Am Kloot frontman) tomorrow night - can't wait!
 
Orwells tonight, Toy tomorrow. first gigs of the year for me.
 
I didn't buy specials tickets. £40, plus 10% fee, plus postage.
This fees business is not good stuff.
 
Just watching a programme about the making of The Cure's videos on Sky Arts. I bloody love The Cure.

Fantastic stuff,eh, Warren? Have you checked out the earlier Penguin Cafe Orchestra albums with the late, great Simon Jeffes? I listen to that eclectic music a great deal.

They're superb mate. It's the third time I've seen them. Have a couple of Penguin Cafe Orchestra albums. Arthur Jeffes has done 2 albums as Penguin Cafe, & I ordered their second one today. Don't own the first one yet, but will do so soon...
 
That Spiderland boxset is released on 14 April.
