They've got Norwich away on Saturday, and they've quietly won six on the spin.

I hope that isn’t too brutal a defeat as I want Bruce to stay.

Mind you, I’m less than convinced they can actually afford to sack the goon.

In 2012/13 there's no earthly way we *should* have gone down, but we did.

They don't look any better as a unit or in terms of results than we did then. Probably don't have as good players either.

John Sheridan leaves Oldham. About 45th time he has left that job in his managerial career

Not going well for any Midlands clubs right now.
Shrewsbury are doing alright I suppose - 8th in League One is above their usual level. Mansfield aren't bad either.

Other than those two who are OK, you're into the National League before anyone is really doing "well".

Ah yes, Leamington Spa have started well if they count! I watch Shrewsbury's fixtures and their very late winner at the weekend was the difference between 8th and 14th - very tight league, as ever tbf.

A bit further down the pyramid, Telford are currently bottom but 1 in the National North after a dreadful start. Scraped survival on the final day of last season and look like this season may be another struggle

Got knocked out of the FA Cup by Chasetown yesterday
