Lampard out of the Norwich running. Could see him rocking up at Rangers

Best move for Norwich if they want even a vague hope though. It’s still unlikely of course.

Depends I guess. If he turns it down then his next job is likely to be in championship, and Norwich will be nailed on to come back up if they go down.

Where else is he likely to get a job in the PL anytime soon?

Smith? Pretty much nowhere. Maybe Southampton or Burnley but those managers look secure.

Whoever manges Burnley next is failing. Ageing squad who can only play hoofball. Wonder when Dyche is actually going to bugger off

I think we want to believe that but I'm not so sure that is true. Although I'm not too sure what you mean by 'at player level'.

I think football can quite often a reflection of society, which I think is the over-arching argument? The stuff about the top managers being socialists, I don't know, we've had a few famous names chucked out there but it's a small sample size anyway isn't it to be sure about anything like that.
To wit; football exists within society, therefore by its very nature the issues that exist within society also exist within football. The two cannot be divorced.

They appointed Graham Westley four times, and he is a far worse character than convicted tax fraudster Steve Evans.
