Pompey should really be right at the top of L2, their budget is huge for that level - biggest gates by an absolute mile etc. Whittingham, Barker and Awford were all bad appointments though.

Awford did incredibly well at the end of last season, and is Pompey through and through. Can see why he was given the job. Cook would do very well for them, just wonder if he could get a Championship job. Without Doyle nobody thought Chesterfield would make the play offs, fantastic effort to do so.
