The Manager Sacked/Hired Thread 2014/15

Mark Warburton is being linked with the Leicester job, which seems a fair endorsement of his coaching this season. I would take the Wolves squad over Brentfords every day of the week but maybe Warburton is getting more from his squad than Kenny Jackett this season. Who will finish higher, I go Brentford.

He's doing a fine job.

Diagourga and Dallas were out on loan in League Two last season and have been stalwarts for them this season. Pritchard is the big one though. He's exactly what we should have been after for the #10 role but that ship has sailed. Jota looks a good find too.

Pearson is a weird one, Leicester must be one of the best teams I've seen be bottom of the league, they seem to create a lot of good chances but for some reason can't convert. Pearson himself comes across as a complete dick, his behaviour Saturday was pathetic and his reaction to his argument with a fan was terrible too, he never even acknowledged he did anything wrong. He's one of those who I think would do a good job but wouldn't want anywhere near wolves.

Gary Lineker suggesting he was sacked by one member of the owner's family and reinstated by another.

That could well be the case. Some-one within the club did sack Pearson on Saturday night, but I have no idea who.

Pearson's press conference was ace this afternoon. Such contempt for the media that he clearly hates.

Soon be loving them when he is sacked and needs to keep his name out there for future jobs and/or boring the pants off people when Soccer Saturday is using its B & C team on a non Prem weekend.

He is a cock but I'd have told that supporter to fuck off too. Maybe not to die.

Insane if true -

"Mark Warburton, the Brentford manager, has been told that he will be dismissed at the end of the season — even if he leads the west London club into football’s top flight for the first time since the Second World War."

Interesting comment, do they believe its a different skill set requirement for a Premier league manager and do they have someone in mind with previous experience.

Brentford are set to deny the whole thing shortly apparently

Can't stand him as a person but can't deny the brilliant job he is doing.

Brentford are a team you can see work really hard on their style on the training ground. The way they played out from the back and at the tempo they did it, with their three midfielders rotating constantly, was extremely impressive. Whether that is down to him or not I don't know, but he must play some part!

Was very bitter when we hammered them at their place last season.

I remember that but I just thought that showed he wanted to win and hates losing. Not a bad trait to have in a manager.

How come you don't like him?

Just comes across as a bitter fucker whenever I see him talk to the media. No reasoning behind it and I won't deny he has his team over achieving and playing some fantastic football

Agree with this, as a team they just edge Bournemouth for me as the side within the Championship with the best set up for creating space through the midfield positions.
They come off the flanks especially well to receive the ball.
