I was at that blues game.
Ridiculous game of football. Blues only had 5 shots on target all game. Reading could have scored 3 in the first half.
Very much park football. Neither team looked much kop. Reading had the majority of possession, but no penetration, and their young defence was regularly exposed.
Blues were no great shakes at all. Vulnerable at the back. Just lucky, but Rowett seems to have them better organised. Plus, both teams played a fair few long balls.
Terrible support in the stadium too.
If we don't finish above both this season, serious questions should be asked.

Steve Clarke in at Reading.

Pearson's got to be on his way soon. They're bloody awful.

Madness that Rangers in the third tier of Scottish football were paying him 750k a year. At that level 100k is viewed as extortion.

I don't think they were, it was £400k a year I think but the terms of his 12 month rolling contract increased it to £750k upon his departure, which Rangers had to reveal due to being listed on the stock exchange, although why terms were in place to allow a resignation that increased his salary to this level I can't get tpo grips with.

It just seems like there are a bunch of crooks off the field milking the club for as much as possible. No doubt at the AGM today they the board will look for another share issue.

He was on £750k but took a pay cut to £400k to ensure staff at Rangers didn't lose their jobs (office staff etc rather than from the playing side). However people were still being laid off and the agreement between McCoist and Rangers was broken, so he quit and they had to revert to the pay he is contracted to earn.

Looks like Sami Hyypia has resigned. The shame of not beating us was obviously too much.

Brighton fans were calling for him to be sacked a week ago when they lost to Millwall. At least they have their wish.

Sven is the bookies favourite for Brighton!

Would much rather have Hughton than Sven

I like Sven but his day has been and gone. Just a vanity appointment these days.
