The Manager Sacked/Hired Thread 2014/15

Can't see it mate. They didn't chuck Coventry when SISU forced them to play in Northampton in a situation entirely of their own making which is contrary to all their own rules. They then allowed them to breach all the conditions of playing in Northampton and did nothing. They'd fudge it so long as he eventually sold it, we need them to take the step of confirming their own decision first. Given their own track record I wouldn't expect them to do it very quickly (they could do it tomorrow, mind, no reason why not).

Custard for spines then. Shows the FPP test to be a sham.

Redfearn is the "permanent" replacement at Leeds

Not sure if Permanent in Italian means short term though

Sound point by Leroy Rosenior on the FLS last night, if he wasn't good enough 32 days ago then why is he good enough now?

Can only think he's taken it on the proviso that if/when Cellino flips his lid again, he can go back to his Academy job.

His caretaker spell last time has kept them from being down there with Blackpool. No idea why you'd want to be working under Cellino though.

The stupidity was not giving it to Redfearn in the first place,I doubt Cellino will ever learn though. He seems to like sacking people.

Gary Rowett in at Blues which I think is far better than their current off field situation really deserves. Spawny club as ever, this season may be too much for him to salvage but in the long term I think that will prove to be a good appointment. By rights they should have been looking at dross like Brian Laws and Owen Coyle at absolute best.

Mauro Milanese in at Orient which looks on the face of it to be a disaster waiting to happen. Another Italian owner, another jokeshop.

If he hadn't played for them I guess he would have knocked it back as he did Blackpool, that and not needing to move.

I reckon he can easily keep them up. They're only 2 points off safety and he'll surely bring in one or two players he's worked with before for a pittance in January.

Strong rumours that Riga has finally left Blackpool, can't blame the guy.

Orient have appointed Mauro Milanese, has he been manager anywhere else?

No, he was brought in as Sporting Director in the summer. All going to end in tears there I'm afraid. Italian owners just don't seem to grasp that you can't run clubs in the same way over here, it pisses too many people off. The Pozzos are making about the best fist of it at the moment but even that looks like a house of cards.

Sacked?. Fucking hilarious

He is better off away from that club. Did a decent job at Charlton and a miracle he has got points for that fucked up club. Hope he finds a stable club soon. Really feel for the Blackpool fans though, they did what was deemed the impossible and all it achieved was putting millions in the pockets of the owners
