The Manager Sacked/Hired Thread 2014/15

Lee Clark sacked.

One home win in a year, says it all.

About a year overdue. Terrible manager.

Probably out of the question for them to appoint Saunders, but Paul Ince or Owen Coyle would be lovely.

It'll be Rowett I'd imagine. Ex-Blues, doing well at Burton, knows how to work on a tight budget and wouldn't cost the world either.

I thought McLeish had some international job?

Yeah, he's at Genk (with Alex Rae as assistant - first Ince and now McLeish, why does he keep getting involved with these losers). However they're doing pretty poorly - 7th out of 16 with only 3 wins out of 11, so a man can dream.

Inevitable really. Birmingham City only just escaped relegation last year, and are struggling again.

McRelegator to make a triumphant return and usher them gently into L1?

Nah. He will want to spend money and blues are somewhat skint. Pretty sure they will go for rowett sadly. Plenty of unfortunate candidates out there that would make them odds on for league one, so let's hope the board royally fuck up this appointment like we did when we invited Saunders to wreck the Compton pitches.

Unbelievable! Clearly the journalist has never seen Clark's Birmingham play or even bothered to look at their record.

Mike Phelan backed into 6/4 on with Corals. Hmmm.

Don't forget manager markets move quickly.

For reference see Hoddle to Newcastle when Vis had some fun.

True, but people don't normally go odds on on day one like that, especially people of that profile.

Approach made by Birmingham for James Corden lookalike, MowbrayLite Karl Robinson.

He won't go there. They are in the play off places and I doubt Blues will pay more than 50p and a bag of chips in compensation.
Still 6/1 if you think it'll happen
