I totally agree with Boozad here and was going to report the post but Tapatalk doesn't seem to have that function. I take being called a snowflake as a compliment if it means I don't put up with shit. Being passive to sexism is all part of the problem with things like violence against women. If this forum was 50/50 gender balance, I wonder how long it would've taken from that post to get a reaction from a mod...

Glasgow is Glasgow, you'll never change him and he finds that kind of shit funny. Why he'd want to telegraph it is beyond me but he does and I'll reserve my right to call him a complete cunt.

Bear wants to defend it for whatever reason, and that reason is beyond me. But true colours and all that. If people find jokes about women being beaten OK then it speaks volumes about them, not the people voicing concerns about it.

Yep, my partner said the same. Totally aware Glasgow is trolling, but it has real world impacts. I was recently at the Amnesty AGM where we heard from many women the impact of online posts of this nature (that was mostly abuse, which is where Boozad's comment that violence is valid). A shame to see it here so easily tolerated, regardless of if the threads been taken off topic.

Pretty sure we've seen bans on here for trolling before...

Gervais' (and plenty of other comedians) stuff is usually aimed at the people who have these sexist/racist/anti-LGBT etc views. 'Ironic bigotry' you can call it, pointing out the flaws of society, though I think he has been on the wrong side of the line with this at times.

I don't see that in Glasgow's nonsense at all, not that I am surprised by this from him anyway. He's not trying to be clever or subtle, let's be honest here. Really disappointed by moderators and senior members response to this. I don't know how many women we have on this forum but my guess is it is a lot lower than the number of men, and we have already we had one of the female members (someone who is very well thought of on here, I would say) express their disappointment too.
