If he fails will he be a Felipe flop???
All depends on how he stands up to the physical nature of the PL. Defenders in La Liga usually stay on their feet, but in the PL you need to go to ground more often. So all comes down to how he adapts his game to be a slider

He's gone to West Ham £15 mil, mate on another note Chris Woods has gone on loan at Forest, God knows what number he'll be :)
yeah i knew west ham got him, thats what i meant, would have been good signing.id say he will save west ham from relegation.
im surprised we werent mentioned for wood.scores once in a blue moon!

I think worrying about West Ham signings when we are clearly being very busy is a bit of a thankless place to go. And especially with Forest. Get ourselves out of this particular hole with a better manager than either of those and see where we are to rebuild further for next season.

With his injury record he looks abit of a croc ….

Thing is there are plenty of examples where defenders from La Liga have looked good over in Spain and turned out shite over here an example is Llorente from Leeds who they paid 30m for and he is terrible. Of course there are examples that go the other way but from what I've seen the fan opinion is pretty unanimous on Felipe, that he is bad. I do get the idea of it if we are going to play a 5 more often but I personally hope that doesn't happen as the makeup of the squad on the whole seems to suit 4 at the back much more. We have performed way better with a 4 since Lopetegui came in anyway.
And in fairness… my Atleti season ticket holder mate I’m on my way to meet says he’s sht. But… he also says Lopetegui is sht and can’t believe we’ve binned Guedes so, well, make what you will of that.

So we can assume he lives in opposite world 😀

Based on this I'd suggest you take some biscuits for his guide dog...

The elephant in the room is the striker.

West Ham have got Ings, Forest have got Wood - that’s two of our rivals undoubtedly strengthened. Whatever you’re opinion of them as players, they will get goals.

We need a striker. We absolutely must get one.

Wood didn't even score goals for Newcastle, nevermind forest.

Wood has scored 8 in his last 52 appearances or 9 since Burnley battered us 4-0, whichever you prefer.

Now admittedly he's been a bit part player at Newcastle but that still puts him at 1:6 goals to games.

West Ham got the vastly better deal out of the two.

I’d take Lamptey with a view to a permanent move, he’s got bags of potential, but I can’t see Brighton wanting to let him go permanently. Unless they do because he’s permanently fucked.
