The Incoming Transfers Everywhere Thread: Summer 2023

Fabio needs to be decisive in front of goal, he's getting into good positions then panicking and snatching at opportunities.
How to be decisive and therefore clinical can be coached but it's a mindset thing as well.
If he can score one or two soon, then I think he will score fairly regularly. If he keeps fluffing these one on ones, it will get harder and harder for him.
Giving him the No. 9 shirt may help give him confidence then again it might add extra pressure on him.
He's doing a lot right, but without the end product it counts for very little.

Very in depth look at him here (just click continue reading, no need to enter your email)
There’s enough quality footballers out there to not waste everyone’s time with a “in theory that should work” with individuals so short at the basic requirements to perform a subversive/innovative role.
Damn, straight facts.

Fabio seems a very reactive footballer, very emotional.

Comes with his age I guess, but if he does something good his confidence rises, he does something shit it falls like a stone.

He needs to try and balance his mentality better and be less reactionary. It'll hopefully stop him snatching.

Adams deal is off according to Ornstein.

Ocampos to Fulham fell apart. I'd be delighted if we went in for him.

Fulham have enquired about Sasa too according to the Evening Standard.

Starting to feel a bit like our race is run, doesn't it? Maybe we successfully twist Strasbourg's arm for Bellegarde, but I'm not holding my breath.

So you agree with everything I said?

Do we get a free goal if Fabio's work rate gets above 6k?
No I agree that his hold up play was bad, I don't agree he was awful, or that it was the worst of the season

The Bellegarde agreeing terms stuff has been around since yesterday, it's nothing new.

Can't see it coming off if Strasbourg dig their heels in. We aren't going to blow them away with an offer they can't refuse. Hobbs will just work down his list of other targets.

It's a tough one, I think so much has been made of Wolves Inability that they are snatching at Chances, I am hopeful that Tuesday gave them some confidence
