The Incoming Transfers Everywhere Thread: Summer 2023

I'm sure that if Lop didn't want him we would not be signing him. So its not Mendes doing IMHO.

You'll all be celebrating when he moves next summer for a nice £3m profit to [insert latest club in Jorge's circle here]

Major weaknesses everywhere in forward line, they really shouldn't be approaching transfers in that area with a "sell to buy" strategy. I couldn't even tell you who's our best winger at the moment, or the number 1 striker.

It's a great goal. No doubt about it, an absolute highlight.

Now find some highlights of his defending as a RB.

If we are after loans what about Cole Palmer or Amad Diallo?

I've no problem with that transfer strategy - IF the players are good.

I said this towards the end of last season but Joao Gomes fits that bill and although it's early days, he looks to be a superb player. As long as we improve our scouting and target good players and good professionals, that's fine by me. There will be good players out there that fit our strategy.

A different approach than paying massively over the odds for the likes of Semedo, Guedes, Fabio, Nunes and (although I like him and think he's still got a lot to offer) Cunha is not a bad thing at all.

Doherty admittedly doesn't get the pulse racing but let's see who else comes in - got to trust in what Lopetegui is trying to build IMO.

Maybe Saudi where it might just be warm enough that he won’t need gloves! Imagine him going there next summer for a few million, it would rank as the deal of all time.

Ooooh - Fabrizio Romano tweets a 'here we go' about Wolves......

We’re not signing a striker until one or both of Fabio/Raul leave and/or Sasa gets another long term injury
It's a pity that we don't have the same policy with right backs.
