in all fairness although granted we haven’t signed anyone yet but imo I think what we’ve done is good business with the outgoings the players sold are only players bar neves that hardly played i think we are in a transitional period fuck all the Nuno players off now what they did was a great job at the time but for me it’s time too move forward we will bring in new players but it’s just a matter of time and what we get for the right price the approach we taking this time I think is the sensible approach we’ve tried the spending big money and what we’ve bought as been undoubtedly shit as I think we can mostly agree I can see a few more outgoings but the powers that be will have some sort of plan i can understand the frustration at the minute waiting for new signings but they’ll come we’ve just got to be patient

As long as they keep her away from Jose Sa’s missus we should be ok.

Ignoring Doherty, the other 2 potential signings look like good business if they happen, though there is the usual caveat that I really don't know anything about the players. They are certainly in areas of need.

My only concern this window is that there really don't seem to have been any links to us signing a striker. Are we planning going into the season with Sasa, Raul, Cunha and Hwang as our forward options? Surely not.

If we don't sign a striker and at least one wide player we are in for another sub 40 goal season, it's been regressing back every season as well 😬

We’re not signing a striker until one or both of Fabio/Raul leave and/or Sasa gets another long term injury
Sure, but you'd have thought we might have seen a link to a striker or 2 at the very least.

I don't have a problem with that. Both Fabio and Raul will leave and Sasa isn't ready yet.

If we go 4-3-3 then the two wide men can play off Cunha.

Not that I know anything but I would be surprised if we didn't bring in a new CF like En Nesyri.

I think a wide goal scoring forward Diaz, Salah, Sterling, Mane type is more important for us. Ocampos can do that job but not sure we're after him.

Don't think Chiquinho is that type either.
