Yep, get that - what with their ability to offer European football etc. But on the flip side *most* people view the PL as the pinnacle of league football, no? So if he’s settled here & J-Lo has assured him he’s first choice, I can see why he may prefer to avoid the upheaval.

There are dozens of perfectly legitimate reasons why he might not want to move to a new club in a new country with a new style of play.
