Leon Clarke big?
Think bigger, man.

I think there are multiple reasons why you would consider a manager elite, and yes I'd put Emery up there.

Lopetegui has gravitas, he's managed an elite club and an elite international team and has honours. We're punching.
Fair enough; I don’t agree but you’ve made your points.

When did Brizzle’s badge change? That’s a banger.

The TEAMtalk joy-train keeps on rolling

Bournemouth could actually point to David Brooks to how they give opportunities to the best young players in the Championship too.
If his ambition is to get to the Premier League in any way possible then it is fair enough but considering how highly rated he is you would think he'd be looking for a bigger club.

JL isn’t an elite manager. Very good manager yes and the top end of what we can attract for sure. Wasn’t he deemed a failure at Porto and his Real spell was a disaster? Flew through a qualification group with Spain but I’m not sure that tells us anything.

Arthur Melo is reportedly waiting to see if Wolves will act on their interest in him, as he mulls over a lucrative offer from Saudi.

Recently, Wolves were linked with a move for the 26-year-old, despite him struggling for minutes last season while on loan with Liverpool.

Arthur has been offered to go, but it is stated that he is ‘waiting’ for Wolves to see if they will firm up their interest in him.

But last night on Twitter, journalist Liam Keen reported that there is currently no interest from Wolves in Arthur.

He then wrote a report that focused on Wolves’ interest in Matt Doherty, and reiterated his point about Arthur at the bottom.

Plus the thought that us signing Doherty is going to cause JL to walk is just stupid.

He’s either on board with the signing or in the completely unlikely situation it’s over his head then he just doesn’t play him and no one loses apart from the club in around £3m in wages, which is fuck all in the grand scheme of things in money we have wasted and still are wasting.

I wouldn't bother listening to Porto fans opinions on managers. Weird bunch.

He's not Pep or Ancelotti so there's always room for debate and differing definitions, but if people claim Emery and Pochettino are elite then I'm claiming Lop too.

Semantics aside, the original point was just that a 'very good' manager like him shouldn't be getting the likes of Doc dumped on them as if they were Lage-level
