Rakitic played further forward for Sevilla. He was very much the link between the midfield and attack. Jordan plays the role Neves would as the single pivot who drops into the back 3.
I think Nunes or Neves could fulfill that role.

Nunes maybe, Neves I don't think so. He's much better with everything Infront of him, his best assets to me are his positioning and long passing, not so much those quick line breaking passes.

Obviously that's good news, let's hope a little more thought goes into who they give it to

The arrival of the Sporting Director, despite not being our Sporting Director would suggest the days of the Sellars veto are over.

We will still get the Mendes options but they will run beyond Scott saying yes and asking the manager if they fancy them or not or Scott just saying no thank Jorge (sure it has happened once)

I don't think there's a single person on here (or indeed anywhere) who isn't a bit more optimistic about our targets under JL than under Lage.

It's like me getting a bonus from work (lolz) and giving it to my very sensible wife to spend on something worthwhile, as opposed to giving it to my 4 year old nephew, who would probably spend it on plasticine.

Plasticine is fucking awesome TBF

I always wanted to do a porn version of Morph, the possibilities are endless, as would be his.............................

Plasticine footballers would be more resilient than one or two of the current squad who are made of poppadoms.

The way it should have been all along.
