The " Honey I'm home and I'm bloody starving , what's for dinner " Thread.

Delia and BBC Recipes are the easiest to follow, IMO.

Delias scrambled eggs always look under cooked and far too sloppy. Whenever I hear her name I always think of her eggs.

Honey Mustard Chicken tonight with noodles. :)

Not really sure tonight. Got a Pad Thai kit that I might use up. Otherwise it is brave Morrison’s and see what they have as our delivery doesn’t arrive until tomorrow.

Angie went out yesterday to do our weekly shopping. Our Asda has no meat at all. Morrisons no chicken.

Had a look at online delivery slots last night. Didn't go well, I think Ocado I was 189900 in the queue and Asda was 18000. Not sure what people were queuing for though as once in it it tells you they have no available delivery slots but still lets you hang around..

I too queued to access Ocado earlier this week, only to be told that as a new customer I was ineligible to place an order. Why not put that on the landing page you trumpeting fuckknuckles?

For the cyberlolz I guess

If anyone is partial to the odd pie or two then I can recommend the M&S Gastro Creamy Chicken and Bacon one.

Only popped in there last week as another Forum member on here was saying that their shelves hadn't been stripped as badly as other stores. The meal for 2 for £12 deals that they have are normally top notch and the pie didn't disappoint.

Bollocks - I am making a fucking great fry up tonight and stuff the calorie count.

Sausages, bacon, mushrooms, grilled tomatoes, hash browns, beans, fried eggs, toast

I love them. And the best thing is if you can get all the fairly myriad elements of a fry up to arrive to the plate well-cooked at the same time, then you have nailed a fair chunk of complicated cooking. These are simple processes but it is the timing element that you will have picked up. And from there, the world is your cookery oyster.

Comfort food tonight - Lincolnshire pork sausages with sage & parsley from the butchers, plus mashed potato, veg & a dollop of onion gravy.

It’s a stressful meal to cook. Just when everyone is ready to sit down there’s toast burning or popping up that need buttering, eggs frying, beans, mushrooms and tomatoes warming up and masses of washing up to do afterwards. I’d sooner go to my local garden centre who do a cooked breakfast with a cup of tea or coffee for a fiver. Freshly cooked with local sausages etc. Far more enjoyable and they do an all day big breakfast for £8 if you’ve missed the cut off or have a bigger appetite.

It’s shut now due to the outbreak and this thread is making me hungry.
