I watched Game of the day on Sky, before the game as elsewhere they played the national anthem.
Fat Frank actually sang, “God save the Queen”.

There's a train strike next Saturday when the Conference play off final is happening. Chesterfield and/ or their travel provider have decided that gives them a good opportunity to profiteer from their fans

And all the ground. Seems a strange deal, you get a minority stake, but the shithole of a stadium half of which is condemned is yours to spend money on

Have blues shares really been bought by Shelby Companies Limited? That's so funny.

Selling it for social housing and building a new one on an old go kart site.

Yep. Tbh it's easy money. 35m takeover and money for players and you're in the Prem. It doesn't take huge amounts to get promoted. Unless you're 90s Wolves. Surprised nobody has taken over Wednesday.

Be interesting to see what happens at Albion this summer now they’re definitely staying down.

How'd Dike get on there, out of curiosity?

(If anyone knows, beyond the numbers)

Shame.

Not sure he's "cultured" enough to cut it out there but would have been fun to see him try.

I've seen bits and pieces of him, he's always going to look awkward technically but I think he's a reasonable Championship striker. No good though if you're never on the pitch, he's unlikely to play again until 2024.

Albion fans seemed to like him, but after coming back from his ACL, he's now done his achiles

Albion now have little choice but to severely cut cloth. No more parachute payments. Absentee owner who is only interested in getting his money back (as likely as me telling Kate Winslet to move over as Margot Robbie has arrived) and some players on decent size wedge that are going to be tough to shift.

I don’t think Armageddon but they are in for a tough time and won’t see top flight football until they somehow get Lai out.

The most valuable ability is availability, they say.
