I only found out recently that Kevin Sheedy grew up exclusively in Wales, he never lived in Ireland at all before he started playing football.

This welsh side would be insanely attacking. You would need to play charles as a centre back (he liked both CB and CF) with Ratcliffe to fit everyone else in

Giggs and Bale as wingers, Toshack and Rush as twin 9s with Allchurch just behind in some form of inside forward role.

It would almost have to be 2-3-5 to work, which is mad

Well, I think quite rightly a lot of people no longer think he's a very nice man...

Also it's longevity that's the thing with him rather than astounding moments like it was with Bale. Started mega-young, finished mega-old. Fair play to him for adapting his game but he was never Man Utd's best player after about 1993. Also did cock all for Wales, unlike Bale.
