@Alan. Was listening to a NFL podcast this morning and they touched on some scandal in US 'soccer', (sounded salacious ) however they were talking about it like everyone knew what it was. I know I could Google, but as our North American correspondent thought I'd ask you what's going on?

The USA manager wasn't very complimentary about Gio Reyna at the World Cup. His mum (and wife of Caudio Reyna as well as long term friend of Berhalter), has reported him to US federation because when he was 18, he kicked his then girlfriend, now wife of many years... It happened in 1991 and as they're married, I guess they sorted things out

I'd purposefully been ignoring the issue, honestly.

I have no idea how to feel about the whole thing.

Christian Fuchs has officially retired.

The snippet they caught of him telling Bender "you grew up today, huh?" really got me for some reason. Think it was after the 3-1 win at home against New England.

Would you guys rather me stick my lil Charlotte FC updates in their own thread or is it alright if I post them here as I did last season?

Appreciate that nobody may care at all one way or the other. 😂

Spurs was kinda mine (i know) for a while as I signed a couple on PTG. Ended up watching every game that didn't clash with Wolves

Besiktas to cancel Dele Ali's loan deal and fuck him back off to Everton.

Pretty sure he's close to costing Everton loads of money if they pick him again. Goes past a certain amount of games and they owe Spurs on the weird deal they made.

If Frank knows he's going to get sacked then I'd keep bringing him on after 89 minutes, stick it to the man.

Chelsea board fully supporting Graham Potter, guess he’ll be out of a job shortly then

Gareth Bale announces his retirement from football

Great news for golf courses everywhere

I still can't believe the "impact" he had at LAFC. You couldn't write that shit.

Surprised Bale retired although I probably shouldn't be, he didn't look up to it at the World Cup. Fitting that his last games were for Wales at least. British legend and surely one of the best we have ever produced, could be argued he is the best. Excellent career and I loved watching him for both Real and Wales, so refreshing to see a player who absolutely loved playing for his country and always gave everything.
