Imagine paying for the next Neymar, Mbappe or Haarland.

That's what they're doing.

It's worked for them in the past with Vinicius Jr and Rodrygo (€120m the pair) now first team regulars and regulars for Brasil.

They have also spent big in two French lad who were teenagers in Camavinga (€28m) and Aurelien Tchouameni (€80m) who are defensive midfielders. All 4 of those were young and all 4 worth their money.
By all accounts Bellingham was outstanding at15 and undoubtedly before that. Nobody would be laughing now if a club had picked him up for £50m back then. It’s not massively different to what we’ve tried to do but shopping at the very top of the market.

BREAKING: Manuel Neuer's leg, thanks to a skiing accident.

Out for the season.

Was amazed to discover that German teams don't have clauses in their players contracts to prevent them from doing things that are a high risk of injury.

Infantino has arbitrarily announced a 32 team club World Cup. Hopefully the clubs and UEFA tell him where to go, but as we know if there's money in it they won't.

Also banging on how great a Winter World Cup has been, so you can guarantee Saudi Arabia will be getting the one in 2030

Was meant to be doing that last year in China but with 24 teams. Covid fooked that up

Of all the things unique to this World Cup, the “winter” dates have actually been okay.

Well apart from buggering up the league programme just to shoehorn a world Cup into a country it shouldn't have been anywhere near.
Buggering up some leagues tbf. Others get screwed by the summer schedule.

Someone is always losing out on that.

The shoehorning part though has hopefully come with a benefit for us.

Good of FIFA to realise we would need this help when they took huge bribes to get this World Cup on

Complaining about a World Cup in the Summer is like moving next to a football ground and complaing about the noise
