I could happily watch the Van Basten final again. That 1988 side was so damn gooooooood.

I loved that tournament, Holland were fucking brilliant. I do remember one game (can't remember which one) where Gullit had a great chance but the keeper saved it, he could have easily got to the rebound and scored but stood there with his hands on his head at missing. My dad's mate was round watching it with us and he went mad. Amazing team though.

Wales v Slovakia from EURO 2016 on rewind now on BBC. Safe to watch now as fucknugget Saunders on punditry has disappeared with the match starting. Still got Savage on co-comms though...

Relegation and Promotion in Divisions One and Two have been decided subject to ongoing disciplinary actions and possible legal actions.

Division One
On a points per game basis, Wycombe's trip to Birmingham to face Champions, Coventry would have given them enough points to go from 8th to 3rd. Peterborough aren't happy.

Promoted: Coventry City (champions), Rotherham United
Play-offs: Wycombe Wanderers, Oxford United, Portsmouth, Fleetwood Town
Relegated: Tranmere Rovers, Southend United, Bolton Wanderers

Division Two
Promoted: Swindon Town (champions), Crewe Alexandra, Plymouth Argyle
Play-offs: Cheltenham Town v Northampton Town, Exeter City v Colchester United
Relegated: Stevenage *

* Could be Macclesfield depending on the EFL's disciplinary actions against them.

Isn’t this Coventry’s first back to back top half finishes in like 30 years? (I remember seeing some obscure fact about them not finishing in the top half since the early 90’s)

They definitely finished 8th in the Championship in 2006, one of their fans was telling me once what a "good season" they'd had and I told him that they'd finished below our Hoddle team so it wasn't all that flash.

I think they went 50+ years without a top six finish in any division.

Yeah that’s the one cheers for that Deutsch

Just noticed Bolton relegated to Lg2. Oh dear. What a shame.

They were down anyway.

Guessing Posh are royally fucked off as they are denied a play off place.

Only 4 clubs voted to play on and 1 didn't vote as they couldn't get online

Peterborough, Ipswich, Sunderland and Tranmere I would guess?

Tranmere came up with some kind of PPG formula (which amazingly enough, saved them) which was all kinds of:

Posh were denied a playoff spot as PPG gave Wycombe some points for their game in hand. Which was away at Coventry. Utterly ridiculous.

Stevenage reckon relegation with no non league football until the New Year at the earliest will send them bump. Likely to get off though as Macclesfield will get more points deducted.

I would definitely bin Macc. Stevenage haven’t fucked the finances all season.

Pompey voted to play on. Posh def did so one of your other 3 must be the club that couldn't get online. Going to guess Sunderland for that and that will make up 45 mins of the next Netflix doc on them

I like how Darragh Macanthony isn't taking this well at all.

There should be a panel for the FL that take a decision for the greater good of the league not the clubs who understandably will act in self interest. In League 1 and 2 playing on will cost them money in the PL not doing so will.
