The Football News Thread 2017/18 - everything not Wolves

Jonny Evans (30), Gareth Barry (36), Boaz Myhill (35) and Jake Livermore (28) are the $#@!ing idiots.

Not exactly young fools are they?
Only the club captain wow...what a role model, wonder what happens if I go to Spain and nick a taxi whilst drunk?

Like the West Brom fan on their forum who wants to emphasise how stupid they are by saying they are as thick as 8 short planks...irony, gotta love it.

Apparently Pardew also got wankered, lost his wallet, ordered a taxi, and made the hotel pay for it. All allegedly, obviously.

I have to applaud Albion once again for outdoing us. Now if they would just sack Pardew over this and appoint Saunders...

Seen a few mentions on there that Pardew went on the piss on the first night in Spain (after warning his players not to go out) and had a few, lost his phone and wallet and needed the hotel to pay for his Taxi

Edit: ninja'd by Paddy!

Got to say, if you wanted to instil discipline in a squad, you wouldn't necessarily appoint Pardew.

He got sacked from Southampton for banging someone's wife.

Elsewhere Bruce has confirmed that he'll offer Hutton a new deal if they go up :icon_lol:

They just can't get rid of him. He's like their Edwards, only a fucking prick rather than a nice bloke.

I don't think Pardew will survive this. Lai has already fired the Chairman and CEO this week, and then this shit comes out. Hopefully there are five sackings tomorrow. Thank you enormously West Bromwich Albion. You found a way to make the best Wolves season in decades even fucking better. Enjoy Burton.

The more I read the more hilarious this gets. You really couldn't write a sitcom about this without it being called ridiculous.

I agree, if the Pardew thing is true he will be gone.
It's incredibly embarrassing for them, they might as well have left Megson in charge.
(my baggie mates scoffed at my suggestion of getting Dean Smith in)

Talk of potential "Taxi for Pardew" chants for tomorrow.

It just keeps giving and fucking giving. I LOVE this season.

Clearly Pardew surrendered when Sturridge injured his hammy :icon_lol:

Surely he must be gone and several players fined..what a scandal

Compare it to our warm weather training. Spectacular scenes.

Looks like a scorcher in Barcelona...maybe the colder weather fucked them off

Looks like the Etoile v Esperance match in Tunisia went well...Esperance scored in the 11minutes of injury time!

"After a riot sparked by a contested penalty and a flurry of red cards left 19 police officers hospitalised, Etoile Sahel said Sunday they were ready to go to court over their 3-2 defeat by bitter rivals Esperance.
Thirty-eight police officers were injured when they were pelted by smoke bombs, stones, chairs and pieces of metal at Thursday’s Tunisian league match in Rades, on the outskirts of Tunis.

The local football authorities also suspended the match referee Karim Khemiri until the end of the season, citing serious mistakes.
Etoile said on their website they “suspect match fixing in the match against Esperance”, and will be handing a dossier of information to government officials.
The penalty award came late in the second half with Etoile leading 2-1 and there were three red cards in the final 10 minutes.

Esperance will play their next three games behind closed doors after dangerous levels of smoke bombs and running battles on the terraces saw the match twice interrupted.

After this weekend’s games Esperance lead the Tunisian league on 44 points with Etoile in third on 36.
The visitors have been ordered to pay compensation for damage caused to the stadium, a venue often used to stage national team matches.
Football in Tunisia is regularly plagued by violence especially when the country’s top clubs clash.
In recent years, violence has escalated so much that sports minister Majdouline Cherni described the outbreaks as “stadium terrorism”.

Consummate professional Vinnie Jones was defending the 'Cab Four' this morning by saying there's nothing wrong with team bonding by having a few pints on tour and nicking a cab because 'Manuel has left the keys in the ignition'.

Then whingeing, argumentative Scouser Joey Barton was in full support too, where's the harm in what they did? Had a few bevvies and nicked a cab, who cares, nobody got 'herrrrt' and he got his cab back.

Even Brazil sounded embarrassed and wouldn't agree.

A group of highly paid 30-something 'athletes' having a few bevvies and taking a cab, what's wrong with that? A fair bit actually

If anybody in your day to day walk of life did that while on business with their company they’d be sacked without hesitation. Doesn’t surprise me about Barton seeing nothing wrong with it though, he’s a monumental cunt sack.

Sounds like they were defendinding it as banter, and I'm sure they look at it the same way if I took their cars if they'd left the keys in,or strolled around their house if they left the door open, calm down vinny man it's Bantz aye it
