England have agreed to interview a BAME candidate for the national team next time round. A waste of everyone's time, they need to find a solution to the block that clearing exists to get BAME coaches into management first before implementing a rule higher up. Let's say we lose all 3 group games at the World Cup and fire Southgate, assuming they want to go English, which in itself is illegal but seems to be overlooked they'll end up interviewing someone like Ince which is pointless.

It's an old argument and I don't disagree with you Frank, but you can break someone's leg with an over the ball awful challenge and get 3 games whilst they spend a year out of the game, but get 6 games for spitting on them which a shower fixes.

That is true, but I just find spitting on someone to be disgusting. Many years ago I sent a player off and he spat at me. It is the only time that has happened in 35 years of refereeing and I can still remember it. It was loathsome behaviour, and thankfully the FA backed me up and he got a long suspension for his behaviour.

Sounds daft to say about someone who's still young but it's approaching make-or-break time for Wilson. He's 22 now and he can't keep having nothing loan spells that go nowhere. Therein lies the road to becoming Federico Macheda II.
