I've not seen what's been said either. I used to have Sky Sports News on as my default 'background' TV channel but not any more - it's nowhere near as good as it used to be and they love crap like this.

I zone out when it's mentioned in the same way I do when they talk about the latest from the cricket.

It's progress at a rapid rate I guess - it was groundbreaking when it was launched (less than 20 years ago), maybe even as recently as 4-5 years ago it was still the place to go for breaking news - it's been well and truly usurped now by Twitter. They get most of their news from there now, not the other way round.

So if it's not a news service, they have to ramp up the drama with crap like this. Some people are interested in it I guess or they wouldn't bother, but it's not for me. I too only dip in and out of SSN now, increasingly rarely, whereas before it was on all the time.

Only really watch SSN now for Gillette on a Saturday and in the evening on a Saturday for a full rundown of goals in the day. Used to be on all the time in the background whilst working from home etc, but not anymore.

As for Conte/Mourinho - it's just boring. Was saying to wifey the other day, when Mourinho first came to Chelsea he was quite funny and entertaining, just comes across as angry and bitter nowadays.

Sheff Wed have got round to revealing the conditions if you want a refund on your season ticket:

Essentially you can have one, pro rata for the remaining games, but you're then banned forever from having a season ticket or membership :icon_lol: PR at its best. Not happy? Fuck off mate, you're banned.
