So glad I got to watch it growing up.

They knew how to defend, which meant you had to be quality to score.

Yeah I know - I was very careful with my wording of each sentence as number 3 is the official reason of why he's been sacked, the others are accusations that are in the public domain - but are just that, accusations.

Same. Sunday mornings in the 90's were great, Football Italia and then the Grand Prix on the BBC, and then Eurosport showed the Ice Hockey highlights too.

I used to love the Italian football. I watched the highlights show on a Saturday morning religiously. You couldn't beat a bit of James Richardson sat in a cafe with a massive coffee and pastry selection reading the Italian sport headlines from the papers. I initially only started watching because of Gazza but soon fell in love with it.

I used to have a large collection of the Football Italia magazine and as well as Richardson (being awesome)
i always thought Simon O'brien brought some "cool" to it.

The Almeyda goal is my favourite, love the bend on the ball (and how sweet he hits it) when initially it looks like it might be heading into the crowd.

Just watched the Vieri goal - amazing finish. I also liked that during the clip the camera shows 2 guys in the crowd - 1982 World Cup Final scorer Alessandro 'Il Spillo' Altobelli and Roberto Baggio. 3 of my favourite Italian players all in one clip

Looks to be a much more significant issue in the game than we give credit for.

TBH it'd be nice if part of the action we took was to fuck the excessive amount of gambling related sponsorship off too.

I couldn't agree more. Gambling sponsorship should be banned and I'd like to see betting adverts during half time on the TV stopped too.

I think betting advertising FULL STOP should go the way of tobacco advertising. As should pay day loan adverts. The programmes would be a lot longer.
