Lionel Messi sentenced to 21 months in jail but under Spanish tax laws is unlikely to spend anytime inside

Community service which entails teaching kids how to be as good as him. The life of a footballer ay.

Messi and his father sentenced to 21 months prison for fraud. He won't have to go to prison, as in Spain a sentence of less than 2 years, you don't need the go to prison if you don't already have a criminal record.

That's the great thing about the internet. We have someone on the spot in Spain to bring us breaking exclusives as they happen

Safe standing area at Celtic for next season - looks really good:

Don't understand why people want to be on their feet for a whole match, tbh...

Much prefer to stand rather than sit down, it creates a much better atmosphere.

Better atmosphere, less crowded, don't hit your knees off the people next to you, don't squeeze in against the seats in front.

When your at school you stand up to sing. Same at football.

Guess I'm just not very exuberant... I'd rather sit, watch, and analyze. Not one for singing.

I'll stand up when we score, though!

I hate sitting down at games, I have far too much nervous energy. I just end up bouncing my knee up and down for 90 minutes. At Molineux I'll either go in the South Bank or if it's a night game I'll go stand on the back row of the North Bank with Deutsch, Paddy etc.

So my options are sit by myself or get sore feet... Balls. :mecry:

Sore feet are the least of your worries, your eyes will be bleeding after 90 minutes of watching Wolves live.

Sore feet!? It's 90 mins. You'll probably be standing up for hours before the game and after though

Hey, if my feet ain't happy, ain't nobody happy.

Nowt wrong with sitting to enjoy (or suffer through) a game. I'm an old fart, I s'pose.

Do you bring popcorn and a book for half time?

Do you bring popcorn and a book for half time?

Popcorn is for theaters.

A book for halftime, though, I have done before. NFL halftimes drag on forever...

I have actually brought a book to a football game before, our pre season game at Killie in 07 (I think). I was sat there reading, tucking into a Balti pie when Dan Jones skewed a shot wide and nearly hit me the poncy prick. Dropped the book, saved the pie.

The pies are probably the bit about my whole excursion to Wolverhampton that I'm most nervous about...

Kenny once dropped a pie IIRC.
