Albions's Dawson given the Red Card that was shown to McAuley on Saturday and will serve a 1 match ban

And Skrtel has now been charged. I am not sure if he will appeal, but if he did, I cannot see him winning it.

Oh definitely - but Brentdan "he has his studs up just because he is trying to get a toe-poke on the ball*" suggests the manager wants his defender to fight it

*this in itself is utter fucking nonsense.

Liverpool are so self-righteous. Just like Gerrard lowkey blaming Herrera yesterday.

Alan, you have come on in leaps and fucking bounds over your time on here. That post is a clear sign you have truly ARRIVED.

I'm taking this as a compliment!

I dread to think what the forum's opinion must have been back in the day.

Gerrard's apology was a disgrace. How about apologising to the guy whose leg you could have broken? Prick.

Agreed. As soon as he said "I've seen his studs" I about coughed up my drink. Gerrard is a prick at the best of times, but to latently blame Herrera for the incident was nearly unthinkable to me. It would have been awful even if Herrera's studs had been showing, but they weren't even at that! The whole situation is absolutely farcical. Especially Stevie looking at Atkinson and saying "me?" when the card was shown. Had a good laugh at that.

You hate Liverpool, you win.

So that's the secret!

In other news, Emmanuel Emenike's time in Turkey is almost surely over after he received racial abuse from Fenerbahce's own fans. He removed his shirt and left the pitch briefly before his coaches persuaded him to finish the first half of play.

He's not had a great season but there's a player in there somewhere. Could be a good deal for a midtable Prem side after this incident.

I like how gerrard gets off pretty lightly with the media, seems to get more sympathy than anything else whereas when Costa was done for stamping he got absolutely slated by all the papers

Costa does make it hard to like him as anything more than a skilled player, to be fair.

But your point is absolutely true. I especially despise the way Gerrard is allowed to treat officials like shit during matches. It's really quite appalling.

That's because he's 'one of us' isn't it?

Barton blaming Harry Redknapp's transfer policy for QPR's predicament.

Manager gone, stab him in the back (although stabbing in the eye is usually his chosen attack)

Probably trying to make sure H stays upright, he has bad knees and can't walk or stand up on a touchline you know.
