The three left backs that have been left out have had better seasons than the three included.

I have, and whilst I don't rate him either, the three included haven't had good seasons. Gibbs has been pushed out by Monreal, Baines has been part of a horror show Everton defence and Shaw hasn't quite hit the heights of his Southampton form.

Bertrand has been the pick of the lot this season.

Bertrand has been excellent. Improved form or not I would never want Rose in an England shirt, disaster waiting to happen. He has no idea about positioning and he's a lazy shit as well.

Yeah, the Fulham keeper. Truly woeful down here, we must have better than that. Bond isn't in Watford's team either and Butland is incredibly overrated, he reminds me of Michael Oakes. I mean he was a decent, solid Championship keeper (with an obvious glaring weakness) but that was all. Never understood the fuss over Butland when he was at Blues, just bang average.

Forster-Caskey is fucking appalling. He's had a dreadful season and wasn't great last year. BHA fans have no idea how he's still in this squad.

U21's have got the makings of a very good defence though. Deir, Garbutt, Targett, Gibson, Chambers, Jenkinson, Moore, Keane, Stones. I'd be happy with any combination of those 9.

I'd be a bit upset if I were Ryan Bertrand.

As for Andros Townsend, I just don't get it, he's a bit less than a one trick pony.

That U21 defence and strike force is outstanding.

Shaw should still be in the u21s, agree that Bertrand deserves a call up.

To be fair to Townsend, he has improved recently under Pochettino but he is still some way off the level required. Zaha has been in good form for Palace, I would have preferred him
