First ever half marathon today.

Really pleased I got the distance in but the last 2 miles were agony!

Exactly. I'm especially looking forward to your imminent shared-to-Facebook posts of you gaily romping along at 4 min/km after eating your own bodyweight in mince pies and quaffing enough Bathams to make mere mortals tremble, Langers.
 
Not happening mate.

I exclusively deal in mins per mile and I hate mince pies.
 
Pedant. Fine, 6 minutes 26 seconds per mile after eating your own bodyweight in whatever-the-fuck-you-like.
 
Looking forward to trying my new running shoes tonight: New Balance Vongo (which makes me think "bongo" and thereon "mags". But doesn't everyone?) V2s tonight.

I'm guessing it's just for running?
 
Most* of my running is done on the trails, have done a couple of road runs this month and it just hurts.

*I say most as I haven't actually been on the trails since September - not withstanding the fact that I am supposed to be doing a 16km trail run through the Highlands in 4 weekends time and can't train for it due to an operation on Thursday.
