I saw The Way Way Back on Saturday. Very enjoyable film. Sam Rockwell is excellent in it. Good to see Steve Carell playing a complete arsehole as well, instead of a loveable funny guy.

Bring it on, it's got to be a world apart from the tripe offered up in the last three.

Captain Phillips. Thought it was absolutely magnificent. Hanks on top form, perfectly directed - every scene dripping with tension.

One of the best films I've seen in ages.

I started watching it the other week on Film 4. I switched to another channel. I found it quite tedious.

I watched it yesterday afternoon in Rochdale. Another enjoyable movie. There has been some good ones lately.
