The Film Thread

Changeling, with AJ. Remember watching this a few years back and watched it again last night. Enjoyed it the second time as much as the first. Wished she'd have found her son at the end though. She never stopped looking and searching for him :(

Hello....spoiler alert

Changeling is indeed a good film, very heavy subject matter and based on true events. Definitely worth the watch.

Watched Martyrs again the other night. Fucking amazing. If you like horror films, watch it NOW!!!

Ooooops. Sorry :( don't know how to do them.

It's still worth watching, even though I have told you the ending!!

No probs was only joking.. .to be honest i thought you were on about the George c Scott film from donkeys years ago...didnt even

Havent seen that one but watched "It Follows" the other night and (psychologically) that did it for me.
Kept looking round the next day incase someone was walking to me.

Never seen the George C Scott Changeling, might have to put that on my future watch list

Little Boy. A boy who will do anything to get his dad home from the war. I'm not ashamed to say I cried at this one.

Going to watch Legend tonight, the first film I've looked forward to seeing to a long time.

Did you see the film poster for legend that included the Guardian 2 star review, but set it up so that the viewer would think there were more stars hidden behind the main picture? Very cunning.

I saw that - made me chuckle!

Let us know what the film is like Boozy - I'm interested in seeing it.

From what I've seen people put, Hardy is great in it but the film is just average.

Is it just me or is that film shite? From Diaz appalling accent to the abysmal plot.

Only watchable because of Daniel Day Lewis. Who is mesmerising in every scene he's in. Otherwise, I'd agree.

I'm almost certainly in the minority but I can't stand Daniel Day Lewis. Such a ham.

Bear pretty much summed it up, Hardy is excellent, especially his portrayal of Ronnie, but the film just leaves you feeling deflated at the end. I won't give away any spoilers but it's certainly not what I expected. Worth a watch by all means but do it in the comfort of your own home.

Escape Plan. Time them pair called it a day before we start to only remember them for their shit films and not their best.
