The only decent Adam Sandler films are Punch Drunk Love which is fantastic and he is amazing in it too, and Reign Over Me. Both straight roles.

Click was ok, and Spanglish too I guess.

Every single one of his comedies is utter dross though. I've not seen Just Go With It, but I do like Brooklyn Decker!

He'll never, ever top Punch Drunk Love as long as he lives.

I saw Happy Gilmore very recently. One of the worst films I've ever seen.

Watched 'Child 44' last night. over 2 hours long of great acting and strong film making.
Stars Tom Hardy, Gary Oldman, Paddy Considine, Joel Kinnaman.

The plot is about an idealistic pro-Stalin security officer (Hardy)who decides to investigate a series of child murders in a country where supposedly this sort of crime doesn't exist. The state would not hear of the existence of a child murderer let alone a serial killer. He gets demoted and exiled but decides, with just the help of his wife, to continue pursuing the case.

Recommended.
