The Film Thread

The Duchess. Really enjoyed this one, although the Duke needs a good twatting.

Really liked The Hundred Foot Journey, esp. as I like Helen Mirren. Quality film.

Anyone seen the Swansea City doc "From a Jack to a King"? Currently airing here, looks good so far.

No but I like the song of the same name.

Watched it last week on the Beeb, wanted the g-friend to switch over at first but it was so good I became enthralled and really enjoyed it. Top acting and a great story. Ended up Googling about the real Duchess, turns out she was Lady Di's great great Aunt

No idea where to put this really, but as it is a film......

JACKASS 3!!!!!!

found this on the box here while being wide awake and trawling the channels in the early hours.
I cannot remember laughing so much in years, even to the point of a bit of wee in the shorts.

These guys are fucking crazy, what is the story behind this lot of loons.

They did the poop cocktail with a portaloo on bungie ropes, and as i said i literally pissed myself.

dare i ask? are Jackass 1 and 2 as funny?

It depends on your definition of 'funny'. The previous Jackass movies follow the pranks and stunts of Knoxville, Margera and Steve-O in the same madcap way I suppose. There is also 2.5 and 3.5 with a planned 4 to boot.

Did you miss all this when it first started as a TV series around the turn of the century on MTV.

Bam Margera is the kind of child you would have throttled. His poor parents. Steve O.... His genitals have undergone countless horrors in the name of humour. That being said there are some genuinely hilarious stunts that they pull.

I'm sure the Margera family will be happy enough with the compensation they've received from having to be occasionally harrassed by their son.

He built a skate park in their house but as you say I'm sure the royalties from the brief existence of Camp Kill Yourself probably sorted that out.

Not a film, but me and my family always watch Detective Montalbano. I don't know if you get this on British television.

Not a clue, saw it last night while trawling the channels, I laughed so much i pissed myself, is this one family? Hysterical and slapstick tv/movies at it's best.
