The Definitive TWF Worst Wolves XI Thread

Quite possibly the worst defending I've ever seen for that second goal.

Our Lord and Saviour Sir Geoffrey Thomas.

Was that the game he was crocked by Lee Howey?

Robert Taylor
Tomasz Frankowski
Steve Claridge
Ray Hankin
Grant Holt
Marcus Bent

Hankin gets in as my only player from the mid 80's because firstly he wasn't a kid and secondly he was so out of condition that he doesn't deserve a free pass

Robert Taylor
Tomasz Frankowski
Frank Nouble
Grant Holt
Mark Williams
Freddy Eastwood

Claridge - Not a single shot on target in 5 games, and he robbed Bull of the chance of playing in the Semi v Arsenal, also scored a few goals against us after leaving, and reveled in our hatred of him. Cunt (0 in 5)
R. Taylor - (0 in 9)
Frankowski - That attempt v Watford...ugh. (0 in 16)
Eastwood - Get it, shoot, no matter the angle, and no matter if 4 players were standing in the way, yet the South Bank adored him, utter wank. (3 in 31)
Grant Holt - 2 stone overweight and played for us 2 leagues above his ability. (0 in 4)
Paul Stewart - Didn't care a jot. (2 goals in 8)

Edit - ignore, fixed in later post.

Leon Clark... 2nd time, why? Just WHY?!
Steve Claridge. Absolute arse
Robert Taylor. The ultimate "meh" forward
Grant Holt. was a BIG signing
Freddy Eastwood. Never got the love. The epitome of a low er league forward who couldn't step up
Stefan Maierhoffer. Ah Stefan, a tall player, a huge neck and a retractable head when the ball got near to him

Tomasz Frankowski
Jake Cassidy
Grant Holt

I really liked Mixu, no goals in 23 league games, but without his 4 Cup goals we'd have never got to the Semi final in 97/98. He was made of bricks, and tried his hardest at all times.

Had 17 players down for strikers, could easily have for Nouble, Roussel, Gladon, Eastwood, Clarke, Davies, Harewood, Kyle, Maierhofer - how do/did we manage to keep finding these awful strikers?
