The Definitive TWF Worst Wolves XI Thread

Ricketts
Hunt
Helan

So many worthy contenders left out; Ojo, Steele, Gilkes, Anderton, Rowe, Reid...

I've allowed the one rogue vote so far for Anderton to slip through but pretty sure he never played on the right or the left for us. He just stood in the centre circle and pointed. Which was great when we already had Paul Ince to do that.

Tommy Rowe - one of the most nothing players I've seen, he provided no excitement, no defensive ability and he didn't even try (also I voted for Rohan on the other side!)

Jeremy Helan - only player I've seen to consistently stand on the touchline and always try to take the ball wider (hint to Jeremy - this means you always take the ball out of play as so0n as you get it!)

George Saville - not fair on him as he was out of position but it was appalling to watch him on the wing attepting to play a role that was entirely out of his skill set.

Could have sworn he filled in on the left for a small run of games and was fucking awful. Doesn't matter as I didn't vote for him, just seem to remember that though for some reason. I'm probably wrong though.

My feelings on Saville entirely. But I relented as Ricketts sicknote and ojo were awful.

I am surprised that none of the other oldies have not voted for Raines. He had the touch of an elephant, and on the odd occasion he actually gained control of the ball he then released it like an exocet in full flight. Words alone cannot describe his inability.

ricketts
helan
rowe

glad I haven't missed the CM spots! Can I register 63 million votes for darren fucking ferguson?

Surprised at the Gilkes votes, quite liked him and he was only brought in to cover the injur(ies) to Froggatt, great assist at Bolton for Keane in the cup.

Anyway i'm going with:

Ricketts
Rowe
Ojo

Ricketts
McIndoe
Gilkes

Edited out Ojo for McIndoe, not the worst, but gets in on the arsehat qualification

Gilkes and Tim Steele were very similar, run as quick as you can down the line and normally straight out of play

Don't agree, not brilliant by any stretch, very average but certainly not in the top 3 worst left sided players.

We'll have to agree to disagree - the only reason he's not in my 3 is because I voted for him at LB. A fraud of a footballer. Dr Bruce Banner had better control.
