The Definitive TWF Wolves XI Thread (1970 - present)

Hibbitt - The early 80's version was still better than anything else I can come up with as a third option and was a right midfielder by then I think

Kenny Hibbitt played just behind the front two, and I will have him as one of my central midfielders, but Kenny could play anywhere across the midfield line. And his goals scoring record for a midfielder was amazing.

My memory may be wrong but I thought he played right midfield in 1983/4 season. We signed my namesake to play right wing, but he wasn't up to much so Kenny played there

I'm vetoing all Dennison choices. He literally never played there for us.

Agreed DW. He played on the left, normally as a winger, but would sometimes tuck into the left side of midfield if the situation warranted it.

Dennison better than Waggy...

I'm afraid we're going to be out voted by the "kids" there, Frank, which will be an absolute travesty!
I bet you Dennison and Sako out score Waggy :rage:

Any votes from posters who were born during or before 1960 - should count double

Newton (my word, that's a huge gulf from the first 2 to the last)

I can't think of anyone else and the one that does stick in my mind is Newton at Cardiff so just for that, he's my third.
