Ok. Why does Cyber hate Christmas so much? What makes Cyber want to return to work on the 27th, or sooner if it was up to him :)

Ok. Heart on the sleeve.

I was adopted. So was my brother. My adopted parents and adopted brother are all the same star sign and all similar. I was often in the minority if one growing up. I think that's part of my mumbo jumbo superstition fixation.

For the first 10 years as a police officer I was working Xmas. Always a boxing day match with Cambridge or Peterborough. Always on shift on Xmas day. That meant Xmas was always without me and I hardened off.

Why is Xmas so special and what would you suggest I do to try and not be such a fucking Grinch?

To me Christmas is special now I am older. It was not special when I was a child. Parents divorced when I was 7, not the happiest of childhoods, hated school days, and lost dad, nan and step brother when I was 14. For whatever reason I can't remember Christmastimes. But, I certainly make up for it these days. I can't answer the last part, some people just don't like this time of year for lots of reasons, and I understand that. If Christmas isn't in your heart then nothing and no one can make you like and enjoy it.

How old were you when you were adopted?

I felt so much pressure at Xmas. I would get school shoes or uniform for presents lol. Imagine the shit I would get back at school?

6 weeks so knew no difference. Met my natural mother aged 30. My natural father I never met but incredibly he was a police officer! Both dead now. 73 and 74 2017 and 2018

Fascinating Aida are very funny - saw them live a few years ago

This tune was tame for them :icon_biggrin:

Just google their take on dogging (don't do this at work or in front of children or you will have some interesting discussions immediately after!)

Should never have been changed in the first place.

We should have a comprehensive rundown of all the available sandwiches by now. And it's nowhere to be seen.

Forgot all about that - i had a Yorkshire Pudding turkey wrap from the Christmas market in Birmingham for lunch on Monday. Wasnt bad tbh.

Had a turkey & stuffing one last week - was OK, but needed more flavours in it really

I work just up the road from the Welly on newhall st. I literally can't avoid the bloody thing. Have to say it's much better in day time than evening and the small bit on cathedral square is much better.

Not quite sure how scratchings and Yorkshire pudding are German tho tbh.
