The 2014/15 Promotion Push Run-In Thread

Now officially in our own hands for the first time in ages, with Ipswich still to play and Brentford and Derby playing each other then win all our games and we're in......simple really. Other than the games mentioned above our rivals all have a kind run in. As ridiculous as it sounds I still think we need to win at least 4 of our remaining 6 inc the Ipswich match

I think are run in is pretty tough

Leeds are never a push over
Then we have a Derby game, form out of window
Then we have a team fighting to go up automatically away
Ipswich will be fighting to get in playoffs and then there is Mick as well
Both Wigan and Millwall may still have a chance of staying up.

So really our only game a this stage where the other team has nothing to play for is Leeds, great!

I hope we still have a shot of getting into or guaranteeing a place in the playoffs when we come to face Millwall, crazy that a better November and we could be top of the pile right now, really shows how far weve come under Kenny!

If we don't beat Wigan and Millwall then we don't deserve to get in the playoffs really given the reverse fixtures.

On the plus side, Leeds play at 4pm today, so have one less days rest before they play us. Could well make a difference in the closing stages on Monday.

Plus Leeds assistant mgr suspended - usual political chaos in the their camp. Maybe we could tap up a couple of their good young players at half time...

I think we have a great opportunity to reach the play offs. Afobeis a natural, and is full of goals. Align that with the pace and power of Sako and Dicko and in my opinion we have a forward line as good as any in the division.

A couple of months ago our goal difference was looking irrelevant in that anything we achieved this season would have to be done on points. Now both Ipswich (4 goals) and Brentford (3) look reachable. It would be agony if we missed out on GD so I think we have to press on for as many goals as we can.

Going into injury time yesterday we had the same goal difference as Brentford....small margins and all that

Need to make sure of the points first, do that & hopefully GD won't matter

Huddersfield 1-0 Ipswich

Shocker from Fryers and Wells scores.

Blouse 1 up at Bournemouth. Clayton Donaldson.

Come on you filthy blue noses!

No doubt Bournemouth get a penalty after a forward has dived and they pester the ref into giving it..

It is what they do !!!!!

Huddersfield 2-0 Ipswich

Molineux will be rocking if the results go our way

Goal back for Bournemouth. You can never rely on Blues for a favour. Fulham are the same.

Bournemouth result is largely irrelevant tbf, Ipswich Derby and Brentford are our targets.

Bournemouth 2-2 Blues

Ipswich get a goal back, Bournemouth now 3-2 up (penalty). An Derby 1 up
