Swansea 2 Wolves 1 - FA Cup Replay Verdict Thread

Wouldn't mind putting 3 or 4 past Forest at the weekend. 1 goal in the last 3 games seems to have got people worrying.

9 goals in 9 games since Dec 1st including 3 against Brentford.
Leo has not a scored in 8 games ?

Think we do need to look at strengthening our forward line.
Saturday did not worry me as we missed some good chances. Do think over the last month we have not scored as many as we could have

Cos when the commentators say
Hause loses possession repeatedly, as well as other thing you get enough to know who players well.
I like Hause,MGW Bright as players I give every player playing for us total.support always have done always will however they were poor tonight

Watch a TV game and listen to the radio and you’ll think to yourself, what the fuck are they watching. Most radio commentators are pretty clueless.

Eight games, two of which where he only came on as sub fairly late on and one where he was subbed off after 15 minutes. He was exceptional against Brentford and was seriously unlucky not to score at least one. He's fine.

Don't disagree with you mate. But it's still needs addressing. Watched every game pretty mucvhh this season, only the Swansea Games had no streams

Ignoring the cup run, we aren’t taking our chances at the moment, but we are keeping clean sheets, so it’s not particularly an issue as we are winning.

When teams attempt to score more than zero goals against us we tend to rip them apart, e.g. Brentford.

We didn't keep a clean sheet tonight, and did not win.

For reference, Reading went out in the 4th round to a team near the bottom of the premier league (blues) in their record setting promotion season

They lost a replay 2-1 away from home

And they were TERRIBLE the next season, finishing a pathetic 8th in the Premier League. It's almost as if the fa cup is completely irrelevant isn't it?

Well getting soaked in the walk back pretty much sums the night up. Woefully poor in the first half the back 3 in particular really struggled none of them showing anything we miss in the first team. We perked up 2nd half especially when the subs came on but defensively both goals were very poor.

Don't really want to single players out as it was a team thing but we were out worked by Swansea and lacked bite.

Bonatini was brilliant when he came on as was Jota, pretty much the only good points, Costa perked up when they came on too.

On our way back now, actually had a really good day out, result wasn’t the best, but atmosphere was good!

We were pretty poor first half, didn’t really look up for it, much better second half, though both goals conceded were poor.

Hause had a bit of an off day to be fair, dwelled a bit when he really shouldn’t have. We just weren’t really quick enough getting it out from the back. Miranda tried a fair few times, but his balls out were simply poor in comparison to Coady, that central defender of the three is a position I’d be worried about if Coady ever gets injured.

We just sat really deep first half/Swansea pressed pretty well, which led to Bright not looking too sharp, trying nice flicks to get past one player and another would autmatically be there to sweep it up from him.

End of the day, one slight switch off and we were punished for it, similar happened the other end towards the end of the match and we didn’t capitalise!

Nice to meet Stan and Siggy though! Hopefully we can do it again soon!

I’m a big fan of Hause and want to see him get more games - but that was seriously crap defending for the winner.

How did MGW look guys who went? Sounded mixed on the commentary.

He was trying to make things happen but got bullied too easily. I don't thin CM will be his position. One or 2 nice moments but otherwise a very steep learning curve for him.

Gutted he won't get to play much again as I think the 90 mins will do him the world of good.

I think he's very unlucky to be honest. Probably could anticipate better that Bony and i think it was Batth are going to miss it but he's quite close and it does just hit him. Doesn't sound like he had a great game overall but he's had very little football and until tonight every other time he had been called upon he was fantastic.
