Wolves 6-1 Shrewsbury. FA Cup 3rd Round Verdict Thread.

I hate to pile on, but re: Jackson; what the fuck do scouts even look at?
Speed only... but no quality, no good decisions, no good defense...

I think the problem is a lot nervous during the games.

I prefer Jackson vs Hoever and Doherty, because Jackson only view he 1/2 season, and that other two more time.... And that speed of jackson are really good, if he improve the other conditions seem have option to turn to one good player.

You guys need try sell Hoever and Doherty, and take a good defense and use Lima, Rodrigo, Jackson on that wing.

Hoever already moved out on loan for the rest of the season. Doherty will never be sold, for several reasons. Rodrigo or Lima might become RWB for this season, but both lack defensive qualities. Rodrigo in particular offers infinitely more attacking ability but he is not physically strong enough for the defensive parts of the game.

On Jackson, i sit in Steve Bull so can see closely what he does. He does seem to start breaking into runs expecting a through ball, but on most occasions the ball gets played to his feet and he checks back, goes backwards / sidewards. But it's as if he's ready to sprint but they don't play the right pass.

The correct pass is a straight pass between CH AND LB. On the one or two occasions we do that he has managed to run around the back and get some sort of cross in. It seems obvious, so it's baffling why we continue to play the ball to his feet while he's stood still.

I think that's fair enough. He's absolutely not good enough with the ball at his feet. He doesn't have the skill to take a man on. Adama had the speed, but he also had the skill when stood still to beat a player. Jackson clearly does not. But if the ball is played into space for him to run onto then at least you can hope he can deliver some sort of cross. It may not be a good cross, but that's the best you can hope for from him. Playing it to his feet removes any possibility of him being at all useful.

How the hell are we going to get rid of him? That`s all I`m bothered about.

The same way we will Lopez and Krejci if we sign him permanently and he wants out, as we have in the past for other players who are worth less than we paid for them, the good old Wolves subsidised loan

Wouldn`t have thought any team doing their homework would be interested. He offers very little.

Someone back in the Belgian league will, we'll just end up paying a lot of his salary
