Of course they'll be pissed off. Any ambitious footballer would be. They're not exactly going to be particularly chuffed that our bench is going to look like a bastard school bus, and that their club is about as ambitious as a minor Royal.

Agree with that. Spin isn't going to work given the number of leaks that we've been seeing (the bids for Sanches, Kamara and Moore all seem genuine) which will have raised hopes going into today.

We were, and we had good transfer windows to begin with. That is what fucked us as we overspent in the championship, then got to Europe straight away. Our FFP fine was with UEFA, not the PL. Others know more in depth than me but that is the bones of it. It was 3 years of break even apparently, ending this year. But it's not very clear.

No, we've had shitty transfer windows for the last three seasons. just because people getting extra apoplectic over this one doesnt mean Netos handing in a request tomorrow, no doubt they'll be as disappointed as everyone else
