Summer 2021 transfer window

OK, positives:
Trincao looks decent
Hwang might be ok
We didn’t sell our best players
Lage has got us playing well.
As long as there are no injuries our midfield is good.
Mosquera might be amazing
This is the major problem. Last match Ruben was a couple of thou away from his leg being broken, and he would be out for the season. We're always one game away from an injury, and not having like for like cover (as we've already found out) is suicide in the PL.

Very reasoned fans have already started to turn. I’m not sure Fosun are prepared for what’s to come after this window.

Oh, I’m sure the fans will get behind the manager and the team when they walk out on to the pitch v Watford, but that’s not really the point, is it?

The whole window has been a farce, but today has really taken it to a whole new level.

Fosun never experienced a purely toxic Molineux or Wolves fans in fear of relegation.

Tbh I don't believe we'll be in the relegation mix, my frustration is more that not giving Bruno significant tools ties his hands with regard to improving on last season, which I actually believe he's capable of

It’s amazing that a recruitment team can set such low standards window after window and still fail to meet their own expectations. It’s incompetence of the highest level. On top of price rises and FFP bullshit. Villa fans are pissing themselves.

Chances are we won’t but it’s very feasible that we could and a lot more possible than people are comfortable with.
Reality is 3 games zero points, regardless of how we’ve played or opponents (who are all a tier below the better 3 teams in league) it’s a poor start.

Not even giving him the opportunity to play his favoured formation as he knows it'd be a car crash. He's essentially being forced to play a 3rd centre half instead of a 2nd forward/AM

Agreed. They have hired him and hobbled him.

Out of curiosity, what where you expecting ?

Completely this.

I'm not sure why £12m is too much for Kamara. If it's just because he's in the final year of his contract then it seems like perverse thinking. Instead of saying "he should be cheaper" you should be saying "we can get him for only £12m because they've let his contract run down".

I just hope we will be back in for Sanches in January once he's fit again.

Thing is if we don’t get relegated then Fosun will be fine and dandy and their transfer policy has worked and they’ve saved a shit load of money.

The latest from Ornstein is it's the player that turned us (and NUFC) down rather than our bid being rejected

Mid table 9th-12th with a couple of additions, certainly don’t think we should expect to be content with 17th like the MM PL era.

At this point I hope we do a Leeds style tweet telling fans not to go to bed and then announce Ronan's loan to St Mirren (if we haven't already). At least we will know they really are just taking the piss now

Thing is teams that aim for mid table eventually get the bullet, just a matter of timing. Be it injuries, bad recruitment, bad managerial appointment it always happens and will happen to us sooner or later if that's the mentality
