I don't think it'll happen, but would fill a big hole we currently have. £50m for a very good winger and reasonable cover for Raul doesn't seem that bad to me.

This dropped into my feed this morning. Any truth in this rumour? If so we could well be looking at another season without him by which time he will be 31 pushing 32. We cannot do next season without a proper forward line. This put me right on edge!

No one knows the specifics, but Raul seems to be doing as well as can be hoped, I think if there were problems we wouldn't have had such positively framed updates from the club.

More likely he plays a part before the end of the season than is out for another 12 months + imo
