Summer 2021 transfer window

I cant see any type of heading in training any time soon, so until he can properly head the ball Id agree with Northfield above...

We should be looking for another striker regardless if Raul comes back to full fitness or not.

Won't happen, will it.

1) Raul is coming back, this is utter nonsense
2) We have put our eggs in the Fabio basket, whether you agree with that or not
3) Given 2), if we sign someone else then when is Fabio ever going to play
4) Who is going to sign to come and sit on the bench

We can't just own all the players.

The key for me is not overload the forward line its looking for that key player that can link the midfield to the forward line centrally. The only player we have that looks like that player where he plays is Morgan Gibbs White, that area has to be looked at.

Podence can play as a #10, I'm not convinced that's what we're after though. I think we're more looking for someone to complement Neves and score goals from that area.

"When asked if he would play again this season, Nuno replied: "Totally confident, totally confident."

Most sides who play a similar system or style to us have two recognised senior strikers with the exception of maybe West Ham (who sold Haller) and then Everton, both have a similar issue to us in that it's difficult to get a backup as the main striker is so entrenched. I do understand the talk of a striker coming to sit on the bench, but I do think a second senior striker or more direct/central attacker (not a winger or wide player) is important. Silva has looked better but I would like a 3rd option, 2 up top in certain games could work, even if just when chasing a game, and there would be opportunities for a 3rd striker there to work themselves into the team if they performed well.

Look at iheanacho recent form, he hasn't done a massive amount previously but with injuries to key players he has allowed them to keep their momentum and now added in the potential of solving the replacement issue for the aging Vardy, which may now be not directly replacing him but changing system to prolong him.

Linked with Lucas Ocampos on Twitter, that would be an awesome signing for the summer. Perfectly covers that IF/ST position.

I think we got linked with Carvalho back in the very first Fosun window! The days of Talisca and all that.

Trincao definitely too.

Bet we get linked with Todibo again as well, though Wallace (not Jed) may have to accept his race is run.
